Making Memories

I have decided that I am going to make it a point to take some pictures of Levi at least once a week. The time is going by so quickly and I don't want to miss anything. It seems like everyday when I get home from work and I look at him, he has grown another inch!! He is so smart!! He imitates everything I do and he wants to try everything. He loves eating everything I make and man, does he make a mess.

These are the memories that I live for. I make it a point to love on him every day and to do something fun. You have to make every day count with your child, because before you know it, they are going to want to do everything on their own.

We bought Levi a "Cozy Coupe" car last night and he loves it. He thinks he has the sickest ride on the block!! LOL!!

Just remember that your kids grow up before you know it and you have to make sure everyday counts. Kiss them and hug them alot and let them know they are loved!! Life is short, so live it to the fullest!!

Being a Mommy.............

It seems like everyone is doing "Fact & Crap" about being a mommy, so I wanted to put a couple of mine out there for our experience in having a little one.

#1-Babies/Kids get easier as they get older-CRAP!!!-I am telling you.... I long for the days that Levi was just a few months old and he just laid and looked around. He is all over the place now and he is into everything!! Though he is a ton of fun at this age, he is definetly, way more work.

#2-Being Pregnant/Child Birth is a beautiful experience-CRAP!!!-I guess the being pregnant part isn't too bad. The fact that the last month I could hardly sleep a wink and I had the worst hemroids and stretch marks ever, was nothing compared to my 3 1/2 days of labor. I had to lay in the hospital bed and I couldn't get up because I was in so much pain. It felt like my butt was going to blow out!! LOL!! Oh, plus the best part, I had to get the Epideral 3 different times. That was fun!! Though, I only had to push for about 30 minutes and I have the most beautiful little boy, I would not say that it was a "Beautiful" experience for me.

#3-Having a baby changes your life forever-TRUE!!!-When you have a child, a funny thing happens...Life is not about you anymore!! It is all about the baby and what they need. You are luckly if you get 3 minutes to yourself to go pee!! LOL!! You are on their schedule and you work your whole life around them.

#4-You get used to going to work everyday and leaving your child-CRAP!!!-Even though Levi gets to stay at home with his daddy, I still cry about it, at least, a couple times a month, because I feel like I miss everything, because I am the working parent. I would love to be able to stay home with him and play and take him outside on sunny days.

Though I have had alot of things to deal with since Levi has been born, having him, has been amazing and I would never take it back. I love him more then life itself!!

On another note.......... Not much has been going on in our life's lately. I am longing for nice sunny days, so that I can take Levi to the park, and take him swimming and just do fun outdoor things. We are planning our Summer Vacation and I am pretty sure we are going to go to Disneyland this year!! YAY!! I am pretty excited about it. Darrin has never been and he is so excited to experience his first Disneyland trip with his son. I haven't been since the early 90's so it is going to be like my first time as well.

Until next time............

Levi's 1st Field Trip...................

Levi took his first field trip all on his own without mom and dad. What happened to my little needy baby?? LOL Anyways, he had a great time!! He went to The Point Defiance Zoo with Trisha, Bre and Faith. Trisha is so good to him!! Apparently, the whole time they were looking at animals, he made her hold him because he was to scared to look at them on his own.

You know what's sad, is that he is growing up before my eyes and I feel like it is going by so fast and that I am missing everything. I am always at work and I only get about 4 hours a night with him. Luckily, he gets alot of quality time with daddy, since Darrin stays at home with him.

Now, if I could just convince Darrin that we need to try for a girl................

Easter Weekend

Easter Weekend was so much fun!! On Saturday I cooked a big dinner at my house and had some family and friends over. The kids did an Easter Egg Hunt and they loved it. It was Levi's first hunt and he did so well!! Tianna and Tanisha, of course did great!! Those girls are so cute!! They just love Levi and Levi loves them.

On Easter, we gave Levi his Easter basket, which was full of stuff!! I put finger paints in his basket, so we are going to do that this weekend. I will be sure to take some pictures. I think he was more interested in the fake grass that was in the bottom of it!! LOL!! We went over to Jodi's for dinner and had a blast. The food was great!! That girl can make a homemade Macaroni and Cheese to die for!!

This weekend is going to be somewhat busy. Tonight, Darrin and I are going on our first date since Levi has been born. I am pretty excited about it. Tomorrow we have a birthday party to go to and on Sunday we are taking Levi to get his 1st haircut. My little man is growing up so fast!! Until next time................

P.S-There are way more pictures on my Facebook if you want to take a look.

Life................

Oh, where do I start.................
Well, to start with, I have the most amazing husband and we created the most amazing son. His name is Levi John Bickford and he is almost 16 months old. I love it when I get good quality mommy time with him. He is so outgoing like his dad and all of the ladies love him!! LOL!!

Life is crazy. It is so hard to work full time and be a full time mommy. Thank goodness I have such a great husband that supports me and he is even a stay at home daddy. (Kudos to him!!) I am finding out there are just not enough hours in the day.

I am looking forward to this weekend. I have the day off of work on Friday and I am taking Levi to the "Bouncy Place" in the morning, which is going to be super fun!! After that we are going to go visit the Easter Bunny. If it goes anything like how it went with Santa, he is going to scream his head off. On Saturday we are having a big family dinner at our house with my family and an Easter egg hunt for the kids. I am looking forward to it. I really cherish the family time!! Sunday is Easter and I made Levi the best Easter basket. I can't wait for him to open it!! I will be sure to post some pictures.

Right now, life is crazy, but is going really, really well. I couldn't ask for much more.
